Don't leave me hanging, Sister

I tried to be civil . . . this video was taken within the first minutes of my exposure to Annabelle. Clearly I am trying to break the ice with my current favorite, the High 5. Annabelle is having none of it. She'll rue the day she ever turned down a sweet high five from the B man. Yes, I did say 'rue the day.'

Congratulations Caroline, Matt and Barritt! Annabelle is a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl. I hope to see you all again in person sometime soon...thanks for the video and picture updates in the meantime! Love, Cousin Caitlin

Hey! I wanted to send my love as well! Congratulations, family! She's cute and the video of their interaction is hilarious. You're gonna have your hands full. Sounds like fun! Take care. Love, Cousin Meg (MegaBuns)

Caroline, Matt and Barritt,
More love and congratulations from your Burlington family. Annabelle is beautiful--and we offer you all a big "high 5". We look forward to reading more of her story in the days ahead-and talking with you soon, once you've had a little sleep~
Love, Great Aunt Mary Beth and Great Uncle Tom

Well, it appears a high five from the grey-sweatshirt-skinny-no-way-she-just-had-a-baby lady was not quite good enough. My advice - try not to be too touchy, B man. My sisters are always in my face and it can get old after a while. Don't worry; she'll be around for a while and ready to high five you or at least spit up on you soon!

I guess that "Barritt and Annabelle" is a case of age before beauty and not alphabetical order. Congratulations to all of you, especially to Mommy Caroline. Barritt, now comes the fun part - learning to share! If you need any tips on being a big brother, check with the Sids. They've had lots of practice.

XO to everyone,

Great Aunt Margie

Dear Barritt,
it took my sister almost 12 months to even just grasp the concept of a high-five. Good luck.
