I know many of you are hankering for an update. Truth is, things are pretty much the same. I'm still crying at the most opportune times of the night and sleeping most of the day. Given dad's esoteric religious knowledge, he did some tests to see if I was a vampire. This involved mom eating a whole head of garlic immeadiately prior to feeding me. Turns out I'm clean, and I rather enjoyed the anti-oxidants.
Dad and I watched a lot of TV this weekend. Have to admit I was a bit disappointed with Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 on Friday night. I was however happy with Vinokourov's win over Voight in the Liege-Bastogne-Liege on Sunday. I had just been wondering when T-Mobile was going to get its first win of the season. And kudos to Tom Danielson for his first big win in the Tour de Georgia. You've earned your spot on the Giro d'Italia Discovery squad, but judging from my 17 days of experience analyzing pro cycling, I just don't think you are ready for France.
Mom told me last night that my face was getting 'fuller.' Don't pull any punches, mom. Just tell it like it is, OK? The fact is, I like to eat. And while you and dad seem so self-righteous with your 3 sensible meals a day, you can not make me feel guilty for the eight to ten meals a day I am enjoying right now.

Day fourteen
Yesterday Little Man watched his first Lifetime movie with J Lo. Let me be clear. He watched it with his mom. And it's not as if he has previously watched other Lifetime movies without J Lo.

day eleven - putting on the ozs
Little Man is back to his birth weight after going down a half pound last week. Apparently mom's half and half came down last week. Weigh to go Little Man. Next week we start on protein shakes so that we can get him in the weight room by June.

day seven
quote of the day, from Jim Barber, after seeing Barritt's blog: "In the words of Uncle Rico, 'he's a tender little guy.'"
Little Man slept well between feedings last night. He and I got up at 7:30 to watch some hilarity on Comedy Central. There was also a show on taxidermy tips on the Outdoor Life Network that Barritt really seemed to enjoy. Tomorrow morning we plan to watch Telemundo so he can begin learning his second language.

day six
There used to be this show on USA network called "Up All Nite," in which they'd show B movies. I wish that still came on, because we could watch it now. Barritt seems to prefer the middle of the night for his waking hours. Mom is doing all the hard work though. I just lay there and listen. Little Man did have his first doctor's appointment this morning. It's all good. He's a couple ounces lighter than he was when born. He'll appreciate that when he tries to squeeze into his bathing suit this summer . . .

This is all very new for us
We want all of you who visit to have a place to download pics and learn news of the young man named Barritt. It's much easier than emailing them, etc. We are first time parents, and first time bloggers, so it might be touch and go for a while. Enjoy your perusal. You are free to leave comments.
all dressed up for the first ride in the car seat. remind us to tell you about the crazy man in the electric wheelchair that slammed into our car and then drove away with nary a word. I'm pretty sure that is a felony in Fulton county.
Barritt reunited with mom after a harrowing 10 minutes of poking, prodding, washing, and temp taking.
